4.2.1. Model Structure

Figure 5 illustrates how the transport sector is represented in the model, using key elements like fleet composition, freight and passenger demands and energy consumptions. The transport portion of the model is mainly based on the Strategic Framework for Electric Mobility from the Inter-American Development Bank to factors like technology efficiency, cost and fleet composition.
